TRIPOD HOUSE will to be part of the green technology solution for the construction industry of the future. We have created an alternative load-bearing system for buildings that is both strong and easy to set up. Our business model is based on licensing, which allows us to enter the market faster. Our customers will be the construction industry, with associated value chains, where our technology will be used in respective markets and products. The founders, which consists of a business developer, an engineer and a civil architect, has been working with the product and business development since 2018.

Physical climate-risk and climate emissions
TRIPOD HOUSE brings solutions to both of the two major problems the building industry is facing (as mentioned in Deloitte's "Putting the construction sector at the core of the climate change debate" here):
Problem 1 - Physical climate risk for buildings:
The triangular pyramid-shaped houses and the building system are designed to withstand extreme weather better than most other buildings. The triangular pyramid-shaped structure (tetrahedron) is known for its special strength. These principles have been known since ancient times. We also see the strength in how the use of the "tripod" is used as a support stand for cameras and other heavy objects that needs stability.
Problem 2 - 40% of global climate emissions:
The construction industry accounts for 40% of the world's climate emissions and has not yet undergone significant green restructuring. Concrete is still widely used for wind bracing of buildings (stair cores, elevator shafts, concrete walls, etc.). TRIPOD HOUSE’s alternative system contributes to reduce emissions in the construction industry and at the same time open up for greater architectural freedom in relation to the location of wind bracing as well as in the design of stair systems and elevator shafts. Architects will be able to use the company's solutions for the entire load-bearing system of buildings, which will have the potential to create new exciting solutions. The company's strong international patent-pending (PCT) technology is a three-dimensional supporting system for buildings, where each individual unit is designed as a triangular pyramid of timber or steel beams. The system is less material-intensive and quick to set up on the construction site, thus contributing to shorter construction time and less emissions. The company has also developed its own green product line TRIPOD HOMES for climate-robust offgrid houses with a built-in energy supply and which stand on three «legs» only - without a traditional foundation. The patent-pending technology is a three-dimensional support system for buildings, where each unit is designed as a triangular pyramid of glulam or steel beams. The system is quick to set up on the construction site and thus contributes to shorter construction time. In the areas of the building where TRIPOD SYSTEM is used - one will in many cases be able to reduce the need for load-bearing walls - which in turn opens up for a more flexible use of the building.
TRIPOD SYSTEM consists of triangular pyramids of glulam or of steel beams that are assembled using couplings supplied in a TP-Kit (one kit for each pyramid that is built together).

The TP head piece gathers the three corner posts at the top of each pyramid like a three-armed roof truss. The headpiece will also serve as a foundation for the next pyramid (located above) via one of the TP sockets and a TP shoe piece. The TP sockets also connect each of the corner posts to two of the bottom posts.
The building can be founded in points instead of the traditional foundation wall. The TP sockets are then connected to the TP shoe pieces that are attached to the point foundations in the three corners.
TRIPOD SYSTEM ensures a cohesive surface on the building, regardless of shape and can be used regardless of the external shape of the building.

Case 1:
A license of USD 500' will give a developer the right to build a construction site of about 40 houses using our load-bearing structure technology TRIPOD SYSTEM.
Case 2:
Alternatively, a license of USD 500' can give a developer the right to build a public building of 3750 m2 using our load-bearing structure technology TRIPOD SYSTEM.
